i have a template which generates an xml file on the server and displays a link
to that generated file so the user can download it. problem is that when the
user clicks on the link, it opens in the browser instead of prompting them to
download it. now i know this sounds dumb, but the users who will be using this
may not be able to handle right clicking and choosing save as. so is there a
way to even force a download when they click that link?
or could we even skip the link and just do a cflocation to the xml file and
have it automatically download or something?
